Meet Gilligan

Gilligan

Gilligan

We’ve talked about Gilligan before but I really must tell you more about this fellow.

A magnificent black and white kitty with HUGE mitts on his front paws, he’s full of adventure, life and a desire to play and explore. His personality is so strong that he’s almost dog-like. He follows you around, even opening louvered doors to go from room to room, commands attention and doesn’t give a hoot about other cats. He’d love a screened-in porch.

GilliganLooking for a kitty who will take center stage in your life? That’s Gilligan! He simply wants to be your world. While he’d be fantastic in a home where he can roam freely, he also loves to sit in the middle of your sewing project and hang out with you all the time. He is very intelligent and could probably learn tricks. His meow is incredible. It sounds like he’s talking. And maybe he is – I wouldn’t put anything past this incredible cat. Come in and meet Gilligan!

Update on Amelia

The luck of the Irish landed a great home for Amelia, a 13-year-old kitty who’s been in our care for over a year. Amelia arrived in poor health and quickly recovered. She roamed the downstairs playroom waiting for a home of her own. This beautiful black female was a great greeter to all who entered our cage-free cat rooms. She loved to cuddle in your lap.

Sadly, despite all their great qualities, older kitties are the slowest to be adopted. Amelia waited her turn over a year. Mike and Ann, who had adopted 17-year-old Snow from us and given her three years of love, lost her at age 20. After grieving, they started coming in again to visit the kitties. Amelia called to their hearts and chose them. She went home Saturday morning and strolled around her new home as if she’d always lived there. Happiness always to Amelia and her new family!
