Our Adoption Center and Thrift and Treasures Shoppe is located at 1616 Post Rd. (Rt. 1) Wells, just north of Rt. 109 (and Exit 19 of the Maine Turnpike).

Driving directions:
From the Maine Turnpike:
- Take exit 19 for ME-9/ME-109 (Wells/Sanford exit)
- At the end of the exit ramp, turn left on Rt. 109 for about 1.5 miles
- At Rt. 1, turn left for maybe 500 yards. We’re on the left. Our driveway is just before the big “Bo Mar” sign. Additional parking in rear.
Enter at the front door. Shop downstairs. Be sure to visit our free-roaming cat rooms upstairs and downstairs. (Watch out for scurrying kittens!)
During shop hours, adoptable cats and kittens are available to meet and mingle with. (They live here!)
You can also drop off food, cash and shop donations whenever we’re open. Thanks — your generosity makes our NO KILL mission possible.
We gladly accept:
- Antiques, collectibles, clocks, decorative item
- China, glassware, pottery
- Lamps, linens, housewares, silverware, tablecloths
- Decorative pillows and throws
- Garden décor
- Holiday items (one season in advance only)
- Videos, DVDs, books
- Ladies handbags, scarves, jewelry, hats
- Small furniture, especially small benches, tables, bookcases, wall shelves
- Pet gifts
Sorry, we cannot accept:
- No clothing
- No electronics, computers or peripherals
- No toys
- No baby or children’s furniture.
Dry and canned cat food, scoopable litter and cat toys are always needed!
